Welcome to 2021! We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing holiday season but esports is picking up right where it left off with plenty of exciting events to tune into right away this year. The StreetFighter League is picking up where it left off bringing us exciting SFV competition every Thursday night this month. Rocket League fans have both North American and European Regional events to look forward to as the last regional competitions of Season X before the Major to end the season. League of Legends returns with a brand new format in North America and kicking that off will be the all-new Lock In tournament. Last but certainly not least, BLAST Premier is wrapping up their 2020 season with their $1,000,000 Global Finals event.

RLCS Season X Winter: Europe - Regional Event 3

Season X is winding down and this month will host the final regional competitions before the big international major to conclude the season. This European event is the final chance teams from Europe will have to qualify for the international major and establish themselves as some of the best in the region. For fans, this is the last chance to identify what teams are looking the strongest heading into that final competition and to see some of the lesser teams in Europe compete until Season 11.

LCS Lock In

Highlight Match: Playoffs
TBD

The LCS is kicking off 2021 with a brand new format. The Lock In is a tournament that will start 2021 featuring all of the LCS teams. The teams will play a group stage and then a playoff bracket where the victor will earn $150,000 for themselves as well as $50,000 for a charity of their choosing. With a disappointing performance at the World Championship last year North America will be looking to redeem themselves this year. This competition will be the first in which these teams get their chance at redemption and as the first major competition in 2021 for League of Legends, will likely be viewed by fans from around the world.
